Frankenheimer was basically dead when he directed this, right? Pretty fun/stupid heist movie. From the writer of the shittier Scream movies so you know the twists are batshit

Ben Affleck is terrible in this.

Charlize Theron. Wet. Naked.

Points are entirely for a nude Charlize Theron, who at one time was regaled, personally, as the hottest woman I knew. Of course, not the case anymore (fuck you Monster).

Frankenheimer answering the question of whether we need a mash-up of WILD THINGS and FARGO… Affleck is a perfect choice for the arrogant lunk-head, ditto Theron as the femme fatale, but if you’re going to continually pull the rug out from the audience like this, the screenplay really needs to be water-tight and more fair-minded – this throws logic and coherency out the window for the sake of cheap (and successively irritating) “gotchas” that make little sense if considered for half a second.

I dunno I had a lot of fun. Some twists that make zero sense but Affleck and Theron are top notch

One of the best Christmas feel-good flicks I can think of.

Some clever tricks at times, but they are rare. Painful twists, a lot of beating around the bush as well. One stops fearing for anybody's life pretty early on. Affleck over-acts too much at times

Seen: 2. Why did I see this twice? I guess it's an intriguing premise.

I only watched this because I needed a palate cleanser, and I was interested to see just how low Frankenheimer, who directed a few movies I really love, had sunk. It's a real stinker.

Pretty decent heist flick with some interesting twists and turns.

Haha, it's hilariously bad. You'd think after the early slog something redeeming may occur towards the climax. You'd be wrong.

Original enough and with a good few unforeseen plot twists on who is dead and who is a friend.

Pretty terrible but it does pick up steam in its second half; in certain segments even pulls off being the movie you hoped it might be when you saw the poster/trailer. Then in the next scene pretty much throws it all away again. Theron is decent, Sinise is hammy, and Affleck is at his worst.

This movie gets more ludicrous as it moves on. The plot starts with an interesting idea but then it slowly unravels. The twists in the film are very unsatisfying. There are some good actors in the cast but they are mostly wasted with the weak script.

2- avoid at all costs, bad

This movie was terrible but I also thought that it was really funny, but maybe not in the way that it had hoped to be (if it had hoped to be). I have a hard time rating it lower. I would like to see it with the Action/Suspense music edited out along with some of the more cliched scenes from the beginning and end. I think it would be more successful and read as a sort of Coen-style black comedy (not nearly as good, but you know what I mean).

Forget it, it's Reindeer Games.

An interesting premise of stolen identity if rather unoriginal. The start of the film seems so predictable you can almost guess every line spoken but in an attempt to redeem itself the twists come later in the film thick and fast. Affleck is as usual wooden but Sinise and Theron put in strong performances. The christmas setting may be the films main redeeming feature as it offers alternative festive viewing from the mass of feel good christmas offerings.

A quick little action movie that gets more mileage out of its flimsy premise than you'd expect.

A classic terrible action movie that encapsulates in its noise and aggressive brainlessness so much that is typically wrong with the genre. Charlize Theron exposes her breasts to win some extra points.

It starts out by hitting you on the head with a Stupid Stick and wailing away for the duration, and will leave most viewers with a hangover from the sheer idiocy of it all.

Good in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. It's a silly plot action movie and doesn't try to be anything more. It's got some good action and Charlize Theron is hot so that's a plus. Still doesn't make it anything above an "OK" film though.

Not quite as much action as i might hope for, instead focusing on deceit. Ben & Charlize are tempting to the eye, and fail to make me believe their positions which is no substitute for killer stunt work. Leaves me wanting.

I rate this movie so highly because the trailer gave my friends and I classic lines such as "Game over. *pause* Not yet.", "Ho, ho, ho!", and "We gotta find a way to get me a gun!"

Ben Affleck is in it...as the star...do I have to say anymore? Ok Charlize Theron and Gary Sinise bring some amount of credibility to the movie but unfortunately they are wasted here.
