Real Women Have Curves

The story itself is not so exceptional, but I must admit that Ferrera won my sympathy. I loved to see how strong minded her character was. 54/100.

There are a number of aspects I like and respect (just the representation and cultural specificity is enough to admire), but the overall execution is less than solid.

Even though Real Women is another coming-of-age tale, it's a real charmer.

It's cool if you like watching fat chicks run around for almost 2 hours. There were about 3 hot girls in here, but i can't tell anymore

Not nearly as great as i wanted.

Somewhat soapy family drama with some good dialogue, mature themes, and a brave breakthrough performance from America Ferrara.

There's no denying that the film has a charm and energy that makes for a film unlike any out there today, even if inherently cut from a familiar cloth.
