Raymond & Ray

Both McGregor and Hawke are good, but Hawke is the standout. Due to both performance and his character being more interesting/better written. I liked the movie for its dramatic beats, but honestly, don't go expecting a great comedy. There are moments of levity, maybe some things worth smirking over, but it's not very funny. A dramedy that just kind of comes and goes, but not without some merit. Hard not to enjoy McGregor and Hawke on the same screen interacting.

This was quite good, though hardly gripping. I didn't feel it had much of an ending, though I liked the part about jazz. An OK watch.
