Here is another unique one from the 'singing cowboy' genre. Smith Ballew sings the tunes, which he did in a series of films like this from the 20s to the 50s. But what sets this apart is that it features legendary baseball'er Lou Gehrig.... as himself... trying to get some peace and rest at his ranch in between seasons. But no such luck! Bad men are about and they want to run Gehrig out of town! He allies himself with Ballew and together they try to fight off the resistance cowboy style!
