Racer and the Jailbird

bit of a aimless mess, but exarchopoulos and schoenaerts are watchable and one of the robbery sequences was cool

A pretty terrible mashup of two wildly disparate genres - both of which are executed rather underwhelmingly - yet, for some reason, the movie stayed with me ever since watching it on that 9-inch airplane screen (RIP Dunkirk). The pure and unconditional love those two idiots shared for each other is something I responded to more strongly than I should have.

Point Break meets Rust & Bone. Not exactly a splendid idea.

Well paced, slick action scenes that served to progress the drama, rather than the other way around (which we see too often)
