Puddle Cruiser

Frankly it's lackluster, and that's coming from a Broken Lizard fan. It's not outright bad but simply doesn't really do anything at all. There are some funny moments but it's never the roaring laughter you get with Super Troopers or Beerfest. Having watched this right after the Slammin' Salmon I think it's clear that Broken Lizard are better with bigger budgets. They can fit in more absurd humour. This just feels relatively mundane. You can still see they have some talent in this however.

Some humorous dialogue but not worth seeing really.

Not very good, even for a first movie from the guys who brought you Super Troopers and Beerfest. Very pedestrian with zero insight into college life. Lots of wasted chances.

Nowhere near as funny as their best films. You aren't missing anything if you skip it.

I really like Broken Lizard, but this movie was lacking. The acting was poor, but as it was their first effort that would be forgivable except it's not really that funny either. There are certainly funny parts, but are too sporadically placed for me to be able to recommend this film.

Incredibly lame.
