This isn't super interesting as an origin story of Wonder Woman, but it is fairly interesting as a snapshot of sexual politics at a particular place and time. It has a refreshing embrace of kink and untraditional relationships without feeling over-the-top or winking at the audience. It's a genuine love story which works fairly well. Performances are good if a bit unremarkable, with Rebecca Hall bringing a lot of fun energy to her role.

Interesting biography of a comic story I was not much of interested before the very new DC Wonder Woman movie. Two main leads were good.

It being about "the creator of Wonder Woman" in no way prepared me for this. My libertarian libido said yes, but my possessive ego said no way.

It is about 85% kinky polyamorous bondage sex, 10% creation of the lie detector, 5% comic books. I would have liked much more of the last 2 instead. Also it could have been 90 mins. Watchable but pointless.

Went into this blind and had no knowledge of the guy who created Wonder Woman, sooo... a bit of a surprise, you might say? I can't really think of many movies with polyamorous relationships, though, so it was refreshing to see that topic in a movie. That being said, I guess I thought it would be a bit more about the creation of the comic book character. In many ways it was that, but in its heart it's just a romance story and I just didn't feel like the story needed this long a runtime.

Biopic tropes and shortcuts are less frustrating when the subject matter is fresh and intriguing. (And, let's face it, titillating and voyeuristic.) Strong performances carry this one as it gradually shies away from its questions about psychological agency and manipulation, and toward a more straightforward human rights agenda.

Wonder Woman'ın yaradılış hikayesini izliyoruz. 2 profesör psikolog, üniversite kız öğrencimizle, yalan makinası için çalışırlar. Fakat aralarında tuhaf 1 aşk başlar. Çok doğalmış gibi sade, ciciş 1 film. 1 o kadar ilginç, sıradışı. Wonder Woman'a bakışınız değişecek. Rebecca Hall çok iyi. Filmin sonunda, barış. 2+1 ev mi alıyorsunuz canım?

Truly one of the finest and most skillful contemporary biopics by a long shot. More a showcase of revolutionary ideas -- feminism, true love in an uncommon family, the importance of sticking to your ideals, psychology and eroticism in pop culture -- in a engaging and seductive relationship movie than your traditional "they did this, they did that" biography -- Professor Marston does that, but manages to be more elusive than informative. Best comic book movie since Spider-Man 2.

can't decide whether it's subversive or a betrayal to normalise these risque ideas until they're indistinguishable from banal period fodder. depends on the scene i suppose - hall fares better than the other two. "when are you going to stop justifying the whims of your cock with science?"

f I were less familiar with the story of Marston (& didn't know that his granddaughter called bs on a lot of this) this would be only slightly more tolerable since it's immediately implausible that not only does Marston's 1930s wife discover she can tolerate polygamy, but she shares the same lust for his student & bdsm! The filmmaker is less interested in truth than furthering a political agenda to romanticize unconventional relationships. If only she didn't use real people to do it.

It's certainly interesting to find out the origins of Wonder Woman, but that's not really what this film's about. It's more about the unconventional relationship between these three people and how society really wasn't ready for it. I didn't find it that interesting, maybe because it didn't seem all that abnormal to me, but it was a fine subject to make a film about. Other than that, it's fairly conventional as a movie. Not boring exactly, but not captivating either.

It is an interesting story, told in style. But one 'wonders' how much of it is based in truth. Considering our current climate, the timing and message of the film is very strong and to the point, but again, how much of it was true? I do wonder that.

Bella Heathcote was beautiful and convincing, but Rebecca Hall was spectacular. Luke Evens was also very good. All were mezmerizing. The story is unexpectedly tender and loving, with some memorable intimate moments. I enjoyed watching their relationships bloom. I got invested in the characters and was anxious to see them work out their tribulations. A wonderful story with intelligent dialog and subjects. It was also great to know the backstory of the creator of Wonder Woman. A good date movie.
