Prison Break: The Final Break

Die hard fan: must see. Otherwise, don't expect too much of it. The acting isn't of the best I've seen, the story is a rip off of the first season, too many coincidies and too fast. They really jam everything in 1.5 hours where it would take a full season otherwise. Excpetc all this it was quite enjoyable. I'm a fan of the series, that's probably why I liked it more than others.

You might have great characters in your hand, but if you can't write you can create something really crappy out of them. The first 2 seasons of Prison Break was excellent in developing interesting characters and exploring tensions between them. The series lived of it for another 2 mediocre seasons and this was the final "cashing on" it. Not bad actually, but it still had that bad taste that was due to horrifyingly bad writing in the last 6 episodes of the 4th season; it ruined all the settting.

Such a shame, how this series got worse and worse with each season. Should have ended it after the first one, that was a masterpiece of TV.

It's not meant to be a standalone and it should not be judged as such. I rate it for what it accomplishes, that is tying up loose ends from the series, which is a masterpiece.

I give the series "Prison Break" a 95, but this was not so great, the plot was circumstantial and the ending was contrived to fit the series.

Quite a disappointment, for a great TV Drama series. However, it had indeed grown a bit monotonous nowadays. Recommended only for die-hard fans who do not pay much heed to acting.

An immemorable end to a dwindling show. This film (or extended episode) settles some of the character plotlines after the main plot had already been resolved.

Feels rushed, especially compared to the show, but I really like it as an epilogue to the series. Prison Break is one of my favorite shows, and this ties up the loose ends leftover from the series.

Quando pensavamos que não poderia ficar pior... os produtores conseguem nos surpreender! esse filme consegue ser pior que a quarta temporada.

It's even worse than the last three seasons and they were already pretty bad.
