A Group of space men from the planet Krankor who resemble chickens are led by their leader, Phantom to invade Earth. But a strange superhero named Prince of Space (actually a bootblack in disguise) arrives to defeat the spacemen. Although the weapons of the aliens cannot harm the Prince of Space, the Phantom continues to fight, and many plot twists (including capturing a group of elderly scientists) ensue. The only real entertainment to be found here is provided by the arch-villain guy (both the actor and whoever dubbed his voice), complete with silly Burgess-Meredith-as-the-Penguin laugh (several years before the fact).

The villains are so utterly incompetent that they make every other stupid villains look smart by comparison. Hey guys, when the guy who repeatedly proves that your guns do not work on him tells you to use something other than your crappy guns that don't work on him, you should probably listen to him.

I'm honestly torn. On one hand I love Japanese scifi films from the 50's and god damn it the Phantom of Krankor was a brilliant character and I loved the fact that his spaceship looked like a chicken. But this movie was also pretty bad So yeah
