I guess I didn't feel Charles Bickford was the right guy to headline this uniform story. Because of it, I wasn't too interested in it initially, but it wasn't a bad collection of actors contributing to make it okay. Just that, compared to a lot of marines pictures, Pride of the Marines (1936) didn't have too much to communicate.
