Joris Ivens's documentary work has always failed to impress me except maybe "Philips-Radio (1931)" which was nice from a image-rhythm perspective. But this one is very ordinary of documentaries of that time. Good information which I guess is the most important part of a documentary, but I had little interest in the subject matter and the presentation did nothing to help that.
