Pollinator

"Pollinator" displays notable command of visual storytelling. With its production design, photography and editing, it establishes and explores an entire reality as well as the people within it in a convincing, captivating and carefully executed way. The absence of dialogue feels like a very natural choice in its context, and the story is expertly structured, orchestrated and paced. Thankfully, it avoids melodrama and it reaches its climax in a way that's effective without becoming overbearing.
