Pokémon: Pikachu's Rescue Adventure

didnt watch until after at least 4 lol maybe even 8. Nice seeing them again. Like s shades. P cute friendly with elekid. Storm and shit

Wow, what an ungodly boring bunch of crap. A lot of it is just random shit happening without rhyme or reason and the Pokemon communicating with each other in the most simplistic way possible without any use of dialog... meaning, nothing really eventful happens. When it actually gets to the "rescue" part, the whole thing feels shoe-horned in with little entertainment value. Better animated than the original Pokemon anime, but then, there wasn't really all that much to animate to begin with.

A marked improvement over the short from the first Pokemon movie, entertaining and above else more imaginative and better animated, included a thunderstorm sequence which is surprisingly reminiscent to Disney's short The Old Mill (1937). Wish the English language music wasn't crowbarred in at the beginning credits though.
