"0% Contained?" More like "0% Quality", amirite? (The preceding joke, while terrible, is still better than the actual "humor" in this movie.)

Playing with Fire has a ridiculous plot that is undermined by none of the jokes are executed well. The outtakes prove that the cast is funny, but in the actual movie the direction, editing and overall creative decisions let jokes run too long or just miss the line between humour and reckless child endangerment. The fairy tale ending is what you expect from a movie like this; the woeful effort that leads up to it, is not.

John Cena is absolutely hilarious in all of his interviews, promos, sketches, etc. So it is mind-boggling why most of his comedies are just so... bad, bland and unfunny. Well, do you know how sometimes you laugh so hard, your stomach hurts? This movie is painful in a completely different ways.

Man this movie was painfully bad. The kids were terrible both the characters and the actors and the "adults" were not much better. John Cena seemed to try but he was way way out of his element. Its sad when the dog was the best part of the movie. Oh did I mention I hated the kids?

John Cena comedy where the humor was aimed a little younger then it needed to be. A lot of the time just letting the comedians do their stuff, doing random childish things, hoping it'll work. And sometimes it did. They just didn't have any other plans that did.

The 3 firemen's shenanigans would have been more entertaining than everything and every scene involving the kids. It probably wins a price for the most amount of painful product placement. I am usually more forgiving with kids' movies, but I don't know if kids would like it in that case

Not exactly a milestone comedy, but I didn't hate it.

It's not the worst movie ever made nor does it have a believable plot in anyway shape or form. Cena is better at comedy than drama but even that isn't enough to give this film anything worthwhile. It tries to play on emotions but falls short there too. It could have been more meaningful.

It's, uh, not great. Fine for the kids, but let them watch it on their own.

Filmin sonunda, John Cena, Judy Greer'i tavlayıp evleniyor. Çocukları yanına alıyor. Ateşle Oynama.

This film is stupid, like...really stupid. If you've ever seen Only the Brave, that showcases firefighters who are brave enough to risk their lives fighting off something incredibly dangerous, scary, and tragic - wildfires. Playing with Fire made wildfires look fun and nothing serious. Beyond that, there's a lot of weird stuff that happens in the movie that I just don't think is done very well. You have to have the right setting, and the right characters for this to work...and it just doesn't

I don't think John Cena succeeds where Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dwayne Johnson have before, in the "tough guy family film" type role. The humor often feels forced and not natural, and there are only a few moments in the movie that I actually laughed at, and even then, they were more like light chuckles than laughs. The kids at least did a decent job, in particular Brianna Hildebrand who I did not recognize from her Deadpool role, because she looked so different here.
