The topic is important, the idea respectable, but Boote is far too polemic for my taste. Although he stays authentic, telling about his plastic childhood, he isn't really a good story teller, thus his off voice comments got on my nerves pretty soon. Nevertheless a decent documentation for people that haven't considered the plastic problem thoroughly yet.

Boote is likeable and his mission admirable, but nothing new is really uncovered, and you feel like the few solutions offered will represent problems of their own. So the most impressive aspect of all this is, well, me. I wrote this on a plastic keyboard. Get it? I sacrificed my sperm to bring you this review.

some nice interviews, but michael moore like confrontations and stupid scenes, where boote walks on the beach with his sleeves rolled up etc., are not what I expect from a documentary.

"Jumping breathlessly from one short segment to another, jetting from one corner of the world to another, the director aims to make up in breadth what he sacrifices in depth." - Andrew Schenker
