Pink String and Sealing Wax

Pink String and Sealing Wax (1945) is a rather simple tale of female manipulation with elaborate costumes and retro look. Takes some time before it gets interesting, but when it does, I was thoroughly entertained. It's not the most exciting or dramatic experience, but there is something about the stylish atmosphere and honest characters which lights things up in a positive way.
