Pink Hill

A truly beguiling piece of no-budget outsider art. If Mark Rappaport had decided to make a regional horror film he might have ended up with something like this. Sometimes it crosses the line into silliness, and I'm not entirely sure how to judge its level of self-awareness, but its much too funny to be entirely unintentional. Definitely one for fans of For the Plasma or L for Leisure.

This movie really creates its own world . It is slow but absorbing. It has a dream-like quality. The story seems simple but something deeper is happening here. It left me feeling nostalgic and a bit disturbed. I loved it!
