OK. Not that we needed a prequel. This was just OK. Didn't really work. The plus is that it's pretty short.

No good, of course -- also, how can you kill Pam Grier in a film and think you gonna get away with it? But hey, I expected the shittiest horror of 2023 and got just a bland attempt of "expanding" one of King's greatest and more popular books, as we follow Ludlow people in 1969 seeing the ancient evil come back to haunt them once again -- and we end up getting a lot of stupid exposition because of that. Scene where abruptly changes his mind about everything is absolute bonkers.

Bland. The core concept of a town where a great evil inhabits is cool and was done really well in It: Chapter One. Unfortunately, this is not It. This is a very generic horror movie with jumpscares that don't work. Unmemorable characters. It's competently shot but completely by-the-numbers.
