A rather bleak tale of a young woman's antics as a groupie. Stride does well, and we can see the change in her outlook as the film goes on; she gets right into the band's life, and we can see others waiting in the wings to usurp her. Why did she choose this path? From the outset absolutely nothing makes it look like an appealing lifestyle choice. Apart from the shagging, drinking and drugs, of course; mind, nobody seems to be having a good time. The music? It's alright. Nicely grim and downbeat.
