Perfect Strangers

This Greek remake of an Italian film has a very interesting concept - a modern twist on secrets and faith - but Atheridis's direction felt mostly cramped. A lot of the acting and, crucially, the dialogues were unrealistic, with Kourkoulos probably being the only particularly convincing cast member. The humour was either awful or merely fine and it was a surprise when some dramatic scenes didn't feel forced but natural - although it didn't seem to last. I found the finale a little pointless too.
