Penance

This has no excuse to exist. I could try & list all the ways this film is offensive to humanity but just can't summon the willpower. Also there's not enough space. To be clear, IT'S NOT: scary, shocking, tense, funny, interesting, original, radical or engaging. IT IS: boring, lame, tame, shoddy, annoying, idiotic, cynical, tired, insulting & ugly. Sure most of this can be excused by saying it's just dumb exploitation but as an occasional fan of the genre it just depressed the hell out of me.
