<@:) (This took three solid months of preparation to set up an elaborate Rube Goldberg machine to type that and only I was able to enjoy it)

The American Mr.Bean, when not masturbating in adult theaters, has these amazing adventures! Just feel the positivity embellish! I wish my life was like this....

A very long 90 minutes that would be better spent rewatching the 1985 original or clipping your toe nails or something.

A lovely air of whimsy permeates almost every scene of this movie. It's quite charming, in addition to being the most gleefully absurd bromance imaginable. Maybe not as fresh as the original, but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Boundless joy and whimsy.

I wanted to love this. I really, really wanted to love this. But it sorely lacks the surreality & subversiveness of Big Adventure & Playhouse. It's cute & mildly funny, & that's about it. Biggest complaint: Pee-wee behaves more like a whiny manbaby than a wacky manchild.

While it doesn't scale the heights of yore, P.W.B.H should satisfy most fans of the character, even if he isn't quite as edgy as he was in the 80's when he simultaneously enthralled and frightened children with his bizarre mannerisms. Reuben's hasn't lost his mojo and remains capable of eliticing laughs through simple means (i.e quirky gestures), and his episodic cross country trek across America produces a few genuine chuckles, although it runs out of steam in the final act.

It follows the format of the first movie and does have some laughs. I figured an older Pee Wee is better than no Pee Wee. To compare to the other two Pee Wee movies, there is no comparison, but it is fun for something different.

At least it's better than Big Top Pee Wee!

So, this is the guy who's been caught doing what and where? No wonder this movie feels sick.

The idea of Joe Manganiello and Pee-Wee Herman even knowing each other is hilarious to me.

They clearly tried to replicate it somewhat, but that just has the effect of feeling like a watered-down version of the original. I chuckled once or twice maybe, but the movie wasn't especially funny. Reubens resurrects his character quite well, but again, feels watered down. And no offence to the guy, but is Manganiello the biggest celebrity cameo they could think of for this? Anyway, the film is clearly missing the surrealism and charm that Tim Burton brought to the original film.

An odd film. There's scenes where you really see the pancake make-up give way, and Reubens wrinkles make Pee-Wee into a grotesque creation. I laughed at moments, but really, I just wanted to watch Big Adventure again.

Pee-wee was not Wee, it was Pee! Not my cup of tea.. AT ALL! Didn't laugh once. After an hour i fast forwarded to the end.. and it was just as bad as the first hour. I wouldn't reccomend this movie to anyone!

Except for the almost-painfully long gag with the balloon, it doesn't quite have the same gleefully destructive approach to comedy that I remember from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, but it is still often very funny. The New York musical number is my personal highlight.

Many parts were entertaining though the beginning and a few of the places he visits were low on humor

The only surprise for me was to see how young Paul Reubens still looks after 30 years. This movie is probably not bad for a new generation unaware of the Tim Burton movie or tv show.
