Peace Officer

Strong statement on the complexity of the use of police force in the contemporary world. The filmmakers, I think, want to be extremely fair to both sides, but the end result of their film is for the sympathy to be almost entirely on the 'critical of police' side. I think this undermines, to some degree, what they're trying to do. That said, the elements for fairness are all there. Nothing is as simple as it seems. And I appreciated them bringing a broader sense of the issue (legal, systemic).

I was once forced to empty my pockets for a cop, so I feel I can relate.
