Patient Zero

It's nice to see that in the twilight of civilization, when mankind is hanging on by a thread 2000 feet below ground in an army bunker, faced with an indomitable enemy, dwindling supplies, strained nerves, and little hope for the future, that hawt scientist ladies still have the decency to keep that lab coat pressed, those whites nice and pearly, and those golden locks flowing like a slow-motion vision of Gabriel descending from the heavens. We would be lost otherwise.

I have literally never seen acting this bad out of a Hollywoodian production, and I do watch some crap. Stiff, unnatural dialogue, stupid characters, the worst security protocols of any military facility, nonsensical plot. The "zombies" retain their memories and full mental faculties, but can't communicate with humans and can't restrain their violent impulses ? The virus teaches them a new shared language as complex as English? What lunacy is this...

I can tell I'm in the distinct minority here but I actually really enjoyed this. Is it the greatest thing ever? No but it is a solid fast paced low budget horror film.

I was expecting a more regular zombie flick and to my surprise nothing to do with running and eating flesh or nor exactly.

okay movie

Incredibly poor until Stanley Tucci enters the picture. After that the movie turns into one of the better "Day Of The Dead" clones out there. Still not very recommenable though.
