Quite hard hitting for its time, this little known film is a little gem. Watchable and relevant in its portrayal of how evil seeps into a community,

Pastor Hall (1940) is a minor British movie of great historic value! Tells about Nazi's influence and how they would force the German people into following the rules of the 3rd Reich. This was when the attitude was still hush-hush when it came to criticizing the Nazis. The film is effective in all it's simplicity with quality acting all-around, especially from Wilfrid Lawson standing up to the Nazi philosophy and getting punished for it. It's a film which deserves a lot more exposure.
