Paree, Paree

Here we see the young Bob Hope paired with some folks that actually know how to sell you on why he was getting leads on Broadway at the time. It's a breezy abridgement of Cole Porter's "Fifty Million Frenchmen" (a show from five years before that gave us "You Do Something to Me", "You've Got That Thing", etc.) . There's the plot, the jokes, decent singing, fun dancing (tap, apache, and otherwise), and a horse, somehow condensed into 20 entertaining minutes.
