T. G. Ravindran aka Ravi (Shankar), a convict doing life, breaks out of jail to seek revenge against Prasad (Cochin Hanifa), the person responsible for his sister Sathi's (Sumithra) death & for a murder for which Ravi was wrongly accused of & jailed. Ravi hides out in a house which happened to be the house of cop Sreekumar (Mammootty), who was married to Ravi's former girlfriend Shalini (Menaka).
