Slapping a dead garbage franchise's name on another pile of garbage. The camera is too nice this looks like a quirky indy movie. Sudden go-pro commercial scene. They're amish just dangle your keys at them or whatever

Folk found footage horror featuring an Amish-ish (lol) cult haunting a young girl whose mysterious mom was part of? Not awesome, of course, filled with a bunch of dumb jumpscares, but I'm just all in for this shit.

This started out bad but I kept hoping that they'd somehow wrap this into the mythos of the previous film. What we got instead was just bad, really, really bad.

had no expectations so found it alright. kinda lacks narrative and build up.

This movie doesn't make me mad... WHAT MAKES ME MAD IS... the fact this is the first Paranormal Activity movie in six years, you hired someone who's done better films to write it, and a director who is an up-and-coming, and for it to all resulting in an utterly useless film that doesn't do anything new or try to be original. This came very close to being the fourth film for being the worst of the series. Save yourself and your money from looking at this pandering studio film...

not so good

I liked this installment. Had a different setting and feel. Not too many scares though.

Paranormal Activity -series has grown stale a long time ago, but I thought the ideas they came up with here were at least refreshing. The characters are idiots and always far too nosy for their own good, but the last bits of the movie were actually kind of nice horror stuffs. It wasn't the worst one of the series for sure!
