Paradise Island

A rough cut island romance that's filled with enough dirty dealings, native girls and fighting to keep floating. And they naturally had time to sing a few songs which at least was not terrible. Not nearly as terrible as the rest of the production anyway. It's main savior was Paul Hurst as comic relief and Tom Santschi as the sleaze, but I didn't take to the hero Kenneth Harlan much. Marceline Day was just passable with hints of a career that could-have-been because she did have beauty....
