Ambitious political film -- or intellectual rant, you choose it -- that returns to the day WWII started to say one or two things about the state of things in Brazil decades later, when we find ourselves once again trying to rebuild democracy almost from scratch -- while, of course, facing constant threats to our very existence, now from the far-right group led by you know who. Unbearably talky and kinda drunk, which is good, but I guess you just gotta be in the mood to let it sink in properly.
