Painted Faces

A jury film with Joe E. Brown as the star, in a rather unusual role for him. He plays Beppo the clown speaking in very broken English. They start off in the jury room where Brown is the only one delivering a "Not Guilty" verdict and he tells a story that relates to the case. The film has it's charms, but naturally suffers a lot from the age it's made being a bit uneven. But in the end I felt it was a pleasant experience and definitely interesting watching Brown do such a role!
