I actually prefer the TV series, but the movie is pretty entertaining.

Top badass moment? This film demonstrating why I never go abroad; even a brief trip to Wales this week was fraught with cultural and language difficulties. Doesn't Josh Hamilton look weirdly like the offspring of 100 other actors? And the lovely Ayesha Dharker gets to join the People With Faces Too Small for Their Smiles Club; (Cameron Diaz, Michaela Strachan & Dr. Phlox being the others). A fun movie that gives itself enough time, space and licence to work. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.

I had already watched NBC's 2010 TV version of Outsourced, and coming back to this film now, I definitely prefer the TV show; it was better cast, funnier, and the characters had the needed depth. As it stands, this film is just alright. It delivers a standard RomCom with a few cute lines as it goes through its checklist of Indian culture and tropes. Hamilton's one imitation of the accent seems to be dubbed over which just feels odd. A decent, if naïve, perspective that's been done better since.

I didn't expect much, but thoroughly enjoyed watching the main character completely change over the course of the movie. Funny. Good date movie.

Simplistic but nonetheless quite charming fish out of water tale.

A lot of stereotypes, but much better than I expected. And much better than the TV series. The romance angle didn't really fit in with the rest of the movie. At the very least, they should have got someone better looking than Ayesha Dharker.

as far as comedy goes this movie basically has none of it, but story wise and by writing this movie gets great marks. there were times when i really didn't understand where it was going. the one thing that really didn't stick with me was the ending, it was pretty blah.

"The story of one man's inner self-discovery during his time in India, Outsourced is a fish-out-of-water tale of the distinctly white and schmucky kind." - Rob Humanick

It's good, but you never really get a real "conflict" moment at any point. It's mostly the main character being uncomfortable, but everyone is so polite and he adapts so quickly it's not really a conflict moment. Then there is a new conflict but most of the people it effects don't even care when it happens. It's still a decent movie, and one of those I just happened upon and enjoyed.

I enjoyed this. It was a pretty sweet movie that put a nice spin on outsourcing. At times it was very funny to watch the awkwardness between Todd and the other characters. However, the fact that the characters were mainly one-dimensional and the unrealistic relationship between Todd and Asha annoyed me.

I really thought I'd hate this just being another low budget extra national film, but it was charming and enjoyable. Nothing like those "gritty-real" Oscar groping multicultural piece of shit films I'm used to seeing.

What a sweet movie! Although it doesn't make you think very hard, it does make you smile. After some of the gloomy movies I've watched recently, this was just what I needed to cheer me up.

A good satire on the outsourcing phenomenon. Fun to watch.
