Imperial conquest kills third world kids, and so does industrial-capitalism, but luckily the moderately vengeful ghosts of the dead actually accept liberal-developmentalist ideology also so justice comes without much having to change at all - US capital benevolently puts the locals to work in the factory and all ends well.
