Out West with the Hardys

Charming as always these Andy Hardy films, but this one was a bit weak-plotted. They surely could have found something more exciting going on considering the entire Hardy family goes out west. The serious business barely exists in a subplot nearly forgotten. What this does have is Virginia Weidler stealing it as a tomboy living on the ranch making life difficult for the Hardy children. That made it worth it!

The fifth movie in the Andy Hardy series and not quite as good the ones before and after. The relocation out of Carvel is novel, but not quite 'Hardy' feeling
