Republic Pictures trying to give one of their colorless lead men some color with Trucolor. What the hell is Trucolor?! Didn't do Monte Hale any favors. This was still a rather uninspired story with a even less inspired performance from him. Not even cameos from some of Republic's popular stars, like Roy Rogers, Allan Lane & Don 'Red' Barry, helped save this from boredom.
