Othenantae Makan

Based on the 'Vadakkan Pattukal' (Ballads of North Malabar), 'Othenante Makan' has Ambu (Prem Nazir) as the love child of warrior hero Thacholi Othenan (Sathyan) & Kunji (Ragini) of the Thekkumpattu family. Under threat from Chandutty (K.P. Ummer) of the Vadakkumpattu family to kill all males of Thekkumpattu, Ambu lives a secret & sheltered life in Thekkumpattu, until one day he gets to go out, but which results in him challenging his own dad Othenan for a duel without knowing who he is.
