A cutting-edge, live action/animated action adventure comedy about one white blood cell's race against the biological clock to hunt down and destroy a lethal new virus. Bill Murray stars as Frank, in whose body the action unfolds.

The film's central premise is fun and the screenplay takes full advantage of it with lots of creative spins on the idea of the body as parts of a city, as well as numerous funny "inside jokes". Murray is good as the super gross and neglectful dad and provides some great bits of humour, but other parts of the live action bits fall flat. The animation also feels cheesy and the plot is pretty bland, but overall the film is worth a watch just for the imaginative concept and witty script.

Osmosis Jones is an interesting idea for an animated movie, but it's more than a little repulsive and the whole thing somehow feels too dark and cynical.

The live action parts are kinda dumb and pretty gross (and not in the good way), but the animated segments build a creative, fully realized world that I wouldn't mind seeing more of. The concept is interesting. William Shatner should do more voice work...

Good fun children's film in the spirit of 'The Fantastic Voyage'. Filled with obvious but none the less enjoyable riffs on the body systems, only the live action segments disappoint.

Has the overall feel of one of those videogames that are supposed to help you learn about tooth decay or some such PSA thing. And the live action sequences with Bill Murray are revolting.

I have nostalgia for this movie, but the live action scenes are bad enough to lower the rating. The animated bits are good for the time, the villain is cool, and the protagonist duo works.

A kid might like the whole thing and laugh at the gross-out humour, but adults might want to fast forward every live-action scene. The live-action parts were unfunny, too long, and obviously gross. One feels concerns about the girl being raised like this. The animation parts are funny and creative and would have benefited from all the air time for itself so to develop characters better.

Initially witty and well-realised presentation of an interesting premise suffers when the Farrellys refuse to develop this beyond the one joke treatment. The film is further hobbled by the introduction of the ill-considered live-action sequences with Murray, which well and truly cross the uncanny valley into ugly grotesquerie – making Murray a more abstracted cartoon would have helped. When it works it’s passably breezy entertainment, with Rock, Pierce and Fishburne seeming to enjoy themselves.

Not even Bill Murray could save this forgettable kid's film. The live-action parts were the worst but at least they stood out, I just finished the movie and I'm already forgetting pretty much everything.

An inventive and fun story told here, almost good enough to be really good. Actually rather tame jokes from the Farrelly bros. I guess to keep it good for the whole family, I much prefer when they let loose.

I'm already not a fan of the Farrelly Brothers so taking their usual shtick and trimming it down to a PG rating is either insulting or just what the doctor ordered. Not sure which.

Part buddy cop comedy, part gross out Farelly Brothers comedy. Osmosis Jones doesn't quite know the audience it is trying to please. Enough exists within this one to go back to it. Namely: Chris Rock, Bill Murray, William Shatner and Lawrence Fishburn.

As a former student of medicine I found this movie to be highly entertaining. I would even go so far as to say educational. It had its very funny moments and made the human body not such a confusing place for a kid.

This may be one of the most disgusting movies I've ever seen. Not on some deep disturbing level but there are so many points where you gotta say, "Eh, thats pretty gross." It also had more adult humor than I expected but it didn't go all the way with it. They wanted to keep the family dollars since and it feel into a weird medium where it isn't quite a good kids film and not quite a good adult film. Not bad and had potential, but ultimately missed the mark.

This movie is good to watch if A) You have a passing interest in human biology, B) You're a huge fan of Bill Murray and want to see his entire filmography, or C) You're a huge fan of Chris Rock and want to see his entire filmography. It's a decent movie, but those three options are better causes to pursue than just setting out to watch this movie on its own merits.

The live-action stuff was terrible, but the animated majority was a pleasant surprise. Maybe a little too reliant on toilet humor, but what the hell do you expect, bodily functions are a way of life for these characters.

Really enjoyed the animated portion of the film, but the live action scenes were beyond awful. I can't even pick who was worse, Murray, Molly Shannon, the little girl, the competent (heh) medical staff; incredibly bad across the board. But the City of Frank is fun and entertaining.

I found myself not caring about the actual human counterparts at all...and it's Bill Murray! He can be awesome, but if the writing plain sucks (in movies like "What About Bob?", "The Man Who Knew Too Little", and "Larger Than Life" for some bad examples), so does he. In the cartoon side of the movie, the action is cool. However, with obvious jokes, a poor cel refresh rate, and lips that don't quite match the words (all reminiscent of Don Bleuth animated films), skip this one, unless you're 12.

While parts of its execution and its characterization are crap, there is a lot to enjoy in this film. It has an original premise and if you have any appreciation for animation, then you'll be able to see that the artists did a really excellent job bringing things together using what was at the time, new technology. Partial transparencies, excellent lighting, and early experiments with cel-shaded 3D are used extensively but not inconspicuously. Visually, it's a treat, but its plot is unfortunat
