Cardeal, Elvis, Fumê and Tremoço work as janitors at the Independence Soccer Club. Due to power struggles between the bigwigs, the team's coach is fired. By accident, the one chosen to take office is Cardeal. To everyone's surprise the team starts to win their games, which does not please some of the bigwigs. With the help of a sports reporter Nascimento, Cardeal and his friends fight against the dishonesty of the leaders.
