Top badass moment? Proof that a vinyl record can be as effective as a good pot of tea in curing all ills. (In comparison, CD’s are just instant coffee; and digital tracks… tepid tap water.) This film is somewhat turgid and not helped either by two not very likable lead characters. However, I did enjoy Izzy’s “the world is a miserable place” monologue. “We’re all going to end up dead so what’s the point?” Yeah, she's tells it like it is. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.
