Uninspired writing, boring antagonists and contrived in almost every character motivation

Have not seen the first one so couldn’t tell whether it was deserving of a sequel, but this steaming pile of bear dung (steam is currently still in an early phase of rendering and test animation) is surely not suitable for any creature.

I enjoyed the first installment of Open Season at the age of 12 and was excited to watch the sequel at the age of 14 when it was released. I then saw the worst animated movie I had ever seen. 14 years later nothing has topped it. Convincing Martin Lawrence impersonator was hired after even he refused to be involved in this awful movie

Crispin Glover and his character's body language were the only sources of entertainment. That song was worse than anything in the entire Land Before Time oeuvre of off-key wailing.

Fifi is the best thing. The rest of the movie is a wet bag of milk.

The first Open Season was a little bit off, but a good laugh. This film seemed like they didn't even try.

Talking-animal CGI flick that goes for jokes over animation but fails on both counts and just comes across as a cheap Ice Age wannabe. I'm yet to watch the first Open Season however: perhaps that makes good in the areas this straight-to-video sequel shows promise in.

A thoroughly unsurprising sequel which simplistically continues elements from the first film. The quirky over-empasized design is more obvious than ever, especially with the new cast of domestic creatures. The major characters all return again, be it with some reasonably major changes in voice acting. This doesn't seem to make much difference however as the humour and feel of the original seems to scratch through from the original although some elements do tend to drag somewhat. Reasonable.

Do not waste your time watching this, the film is quite boring. Unnecessary sequel.
