One More Time

Foxy's third and final outing before Walt dialed his old Kansas City pal and erstwhile employee Ising to suggest he try a smidge harder with the character designs. Music is timely as ever; here it's the hot dance hit of the moment, "One More Time" (famously performed in those days by a young Bing Crosby on the cusp of his solo breakout). Decent mix of gags and action as Foxy goes out with a bang as a traffic cop embroiled in a shootout; from "One More Fine" to "No More Crime", we've got it all.

Ending this short with a fade out on Foxy getting obliterated by a minigun and then never appearing again is a masterclass in comical pettiness. I hope they sent a copy of this to Walter with a note saying Mickey's next

Filled with reused animation, it literally shows the same animation repeatedly for half the running time. The best of the Foxy shorts I've watch but that's not saying much.
