One Man Force

Former professional football player turned actor, John "The 'Tooz'" Matuszak stars alongside a gaggle of familiar faces in this late 80's, low-budget, action/drama as a cop who must become a "One Man Force" in order to take revenge/get justice after his partner is murdered. Enjoyably cheesy, this cliche cop drama has some decent action to help along the forgettable plot. However, the real attraction is watching Matuszak use a refrigerator+vending machine like a tackling sled to squash bad guys.

this film's biggest mistake was killing Sam Jones off at the 13-minute mark. not because his death forces us to sit through a scene in which Matuszak attempts to cry, but because a buddy cop movie starring John Matuszak and Sam Jones would have been the Greatest Buddy Cop Movie Ever Made.
