Once in a Lifetime

A little too much talk in this comedy, but some of the talk hit jackpot and got me laughing high. This was in parts a rather wonderful comedy about Hollywood during the transition to sound and how difficult life in Hollywood is for the talented and how easy it is for the stupid. Jack Oakie as the moron making a wonderful career was great and Aline MacMahon filled out with more smart comments to back-up Oakie's stupidity. Sidney Fox as Oakie's mentally equal love interest had her moments too.
