It's always fun to watch a good dark comedy. Two well-written characters, flowing dialogues, and a film that touches the emotions with its sadness and sincerity. Especially in the final, my eyes filled with tears.

Morbid study of two lives gone wrong. It's never slow.

Loses steam in the second half where weaknesses in the philosophy are exposed but Christopher Abbott is always worth a watch, literally always!

Some good insights and tackles real issues w dark levity as well as seriousness in parts. Strong performances by both. Carmichael will be one to watch moving forward both as a director and actor. Third act didn't quite nail the landing for me; however. 6.6

Couldn't invest in the relationship between the 2 because it felt more like best friends just because they say they are, rather than letting us see/feel it. Individually their performances are fine, they just aren't written that well. But the movie isn't boring, and some of the lines are legitimately funny. I was entertained, but the excellent opening set a standard that the film couldn't uphold.
