On Your Guard

The 1933 Richard Talmadge feature. He plays a ex-convict who has just been released from prison and sets himself up in a lumber town where he meets a orphan family. Talmadge is not a natural actor and that shows, but it's kind of admirable watching his at least try and how he improvised with the kids here. This is nothing more then a low budget movie by/for/with Talmadge. At least he tries to put himself over in the best way possible with limited talent and resources.
