Australian film industry was always a bit primitive in the old days. And here is an example of that with this weird mix of inbred comedy and drama of the hardship of the rough land down under. Really hit and miss, but they are more ambitious then talent/equipment they have allow. And that's why this is a oddity that's worth ones time if one is curious about Australian film history.
