Olsen Banden på de bonede gulve

This cartoon film is based off the danish version of Olsen-banden, but it's almost identical to the Norwegian one that there is hardly any difference in the characters. While it underneath has a lot of the same charm as the classic movie series, it does try and cool-it-up with more "edgy" comedy which feels out-of-place and ruin a lot of the experience for Olsen-banden fans. Still fun to see these guys in cartoon form.

This movie is subtle, astute, timely and completely necessary in the same way that throwing watermelons off a roof is an advisable thing to do. Everything seems so half-assed that it almost pissed me off. The satire is on the level of fart-jokes and just plain cringeworthy, and any attempt at hitting the tone or meticulousness of the original film are way off. I don't often say this, but I hope that at least one person in charge of this on-screen abortion got fired, if not publically tortured.
