Oh, You Beautiful Doll (1949) is kind of a boring musical. In Technicolor and all. Proof you couldn't just slap on color in hopes it'll make the musical. Especially when you have such middle of the road screen performers as Mark Stevens & June Haver at the center of attention, even if their musical contributions holds merit. Didn't get too much out of the lively couple S.Z. Sakall & Charlotte Greenwood either, but that's when I enjoyed this the most.
