Horror no Halloween 2024 dia 25: Slasher. Há pouco tempo estivemos discutindo Cindy Sherman no nosso grupo de estudos sobre Arte e Psicanálise, Sherman transforma um subgênero que odeio e alça à categoria de arte. Comecei a trabalhar em escritório mais ou menos quando esse filme foi lançado, então acho que é bem feliz em ser um tipo de sátira feminista das mulheres que trabalham em escritório dos anos 90, diria até que a Sherman faz aqui o que a Harron fez com os Yuppies em American Psycho.

Not too shabby, though a little garish for my tastes (though I have to admit I took a little glee in the Girl Scouts turning back up). Makes a nice double feature with Office Space. Also, Cindy Sherman proves adept behind a moving camera.

Canonical still photographer Cindy Sherman made this thriller. It's not so bad, but nothing to write home about either.
