A rather long Samurai drama from Daisuke Itô, but it was alright for it was borderline great a lot of the time, even if it doesn't quite capitalize on it. The drama had energy and there was scenes which captured the spirit. More like a selection of moment that could have led to something exiting, but never paying it off with follow-up scenes that would have elevated it.
